Patio Lights, Fans and Heaters
Love it, want it, gotta have it... I started putting lights into my patios 8 years ago because I was building my own patio at my house and as I entertain a lot, adding lights seemed like the natural thing to do. The end result was so impressive that I just had to add built in lighting packages to our already impressive range of options available. This then lead to outdoor fans and now were talking radiant heaters aswell.
We have come a long way since then, we are now using low voltage, CREE LED downlights with a non-corrosive chrome look ABS plastic housing and running them on dimmer switches so you can create the light you want and run them for almost nothing and even get a 7 year guarantee that the globes wont die. They don't just work well, they look awesome. Having them integrated and built right into your patio is the way to go.
Fans, fans, fans, we try to only use Hunter Pacific fans in our patios. We have used and tried many brands, but, we know what works, Hunter Pacific, they're cost effective and work hassle free. Available in Stainless Steel 316 and 304 grades and a range of more decorative styles also.
Radiant Patio Heaters are the new kid on the block. At this stage they are a little more expensive than I'd like them to be, but they do work really well. At a cost of 30 cents an hour to run they are a cost effective solution to outdoor heating and entertaining. I am very interested in where this is going and what we do next.
